  1. Please do another video breaking this down with definitions and examples. You make a lot of points here, but I'm not sure exactly what you're getting at.

Are you stressing the importance of creating a business case with your SEO strategy?

Are you talking about the importance of audience and user journey mapping with SEO recommendations?

Are you dissecting the difference between paid and organic?

Are you critiquing the SEO space for focusing too much on technical?

Are you saying that you've seen a lot of SEOs ignore branding and audience targeting?

What are the challenges and solutions with your ideas?

  2. Come to think of it, you made some good points, SEO is not marketing it is optimizing sites and businesses for Google and visibility on the web. I'll probably be the first SEO to say I suck at marketing but I definitely do SEO!

  3. I get what you are saying.. because to market something really has to do with presentation, connection, persuasion… as far as like to simplify it. Like when I market myself as a model, there is a certain way I put myself out there to market to right photographers and agencies or brands to get their attention. I feel like marketing is visual and conversation. It's copywriting, graphic design, trends, understanding people and what they need and desire. SEO, is a conversation with the internet and placing what people search into web pages for search engines to read and comprehend, so it can serve it to others.. that's it. Once you land on the page, the rest is based on design, the message, and persuasion from price, pictures e.t.c. does it solve my problem etc. I said a lot but thats my perspective on what you discussed ❤
