On Page SEO Tools Surfer SEO VS Page Optimizer Pro
When choosing a on-page SEO tool you’re really trusting that the tool is going to optimize your content the same way that you would if you were to do it by hand. The main difference when choosing an SEO tool is to speed up your process your optimization not add more work or make it harder for you but better optimization score without spending as much time.
This video breaks down exactly why I made the change everything from price to optimization scores and other features that really interest me when optimizing a website or webpage.
The main things that I covered in this video are going to be price along with optimization scores including the amount of heading tags the amount of latent semantic indexing keywords co-occurring keywords and the amount of heading tags that are optimized along with your schema markup and also e a t scores and what you need to add in order to get expertise Authority and Trust into your pages..
For me choosing page optimizer pro was a no-brainer when looking at the overall optimization scores of each page optimizer pro vs. Surfer there’s no comparison page optimizer pro optimizes closer the way I would do it if I was doing it by hand.

Simple, POP is far better.
Finally- I have been asking you this since a long time
I just found out you can go in the backend of surfer and give it what you want like to get 100 how many H2 how many word count how many heading etc… haven’t played and test it yet but I did see you can change it to make it your own specs
You compare with content editor, but there is a more advanced tool in Surfer – serp analyzer. It has headings, schema, million of other params 🙂 Editor is more for writers, not for hardcore SEO specialists
Awesome points Chris!
Hey Chris, love your content. Serious questions – how come you have so much energy and enthusiasm? Do you have some kind of specific regimen or is it just how you always were? Do you drink 4 espressos before filming a vid? 😀
Well you have that sort of reports about structure if you use the audit and derp analysis on surfer. I've had better ranking results with surfer comparing the twos. As always it depends 😉
I need to try this puppy out. Show me a page and how ya do it. Teach me to use the tool 🙂
Great information Chris,
Thanks Much as always!
its Christmas bro can you chillax man?
I've used both. I prefer POP. Definitely not in terms of visualization and sexiness. But in terms of effectiveness. And I agree with your point about headings 100%. That's crucial.
Getting above 85 on surfer is overoptimizing, it also depends on the sources you set for it to use, etc. The outline also shows you headings. For my niche, I've had more success with Surfer. The audit in surfer gives you a lot of that information too. Some cool things in POP though so that's good that it's all in one go.
Chris thank you for the honest & clear comparison.
This was concise and helpful. You're killing it!
Hi Chris. Have you used cora lite? Is pop + cora lite better?
Chris A website named GSMArena is dominating tech niche. how come that website has high EAT? that site dont even has about us page.
