  1. Hi Kara, do you offer shop critiques? I would love to be critiqued by someone with the amount of sales you have. I take my business seriously and what ever I have to do to achieve success (10-20 sales a day) I will do it!! The best sellers in my niche make 10-20 sales a day and I know my quality is just as good if not better.

  2. Thank you so much for the info on Google trends. I did this and found several of my search terms are stale, yet they are getting some activity. So if they show low on Google, would this mean they are high on Etsy because people are favoriting the product based on that search term?

  3. hi, I just sold a mug to someone from the UK for £29.59 plus £10.99 shipping. It says the listing sold for £45.14, that is odd as it should be £40.58. I ONLY GOT £26.63. Where is the rest of my money? Postage on Printify to the UK cost me $16 I barely made £6 profit. As I don't trust etsy to give me the postage money I have free Shipping on my shop which means that I have not made as much money as I should have with the sales I have made. In adition I have noticed that when I put the price on the product as I set up the listing and then when I hit Publish the price shown on the listing TO THE PUBLIC is increased. Why is that? Yes I have contacted etsy via email several times about this but did not get a humanbeing response it just referred me to the website. Thanks in advance.

  4. Please help me understand something. I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around this. If I’m promoting my shop in social media and I’m bringing most of the traffic to my shop then why am I seller f my items on Etsy? Isn’t that why I pay all the fees for?

  5. Anyone with Etsy experience want to take a stab at this?
I'm thinking about opening an Etsy shop, stump furniture (because I have lots of trees that must be cut down), but shipping costs are all over the place depending on where I ship to. I've seen it said that we MUST offer free shipping, but I obviously cannot "eat" $150 in shipping costs. On the other hand, I really hate to "rob" people if I figure a predetermined shipping cost into the item price, but the shipping turns out to be far lower if I ship to, say, a nearby state. What would any of you advise? This is really holding me up from committing to large items until I work it out.

  6. Super helpful advice even for experienced sellers. Find what works!
Every shop is different but in my case I get more views and sales,
    1) The more active I am in my shop (no “set it and forget it”)
    2) I get increased traffic from ads—but I run them ONLY when I can afford them
    3) The larger variety of items I have in stock, the more I sell, but I sell supplies so mileage may vary for other types of shops.

  7. So, I did a sale as Etsy requested for last month. I got a few sales but not as much as I’d like. Then when the sale was done I received more sales than I did with the sale. Now crickets again. Last month I barely made anything. Last year my sales were awesome and I thought I had it figured out. Now I’m back to being discouraged and wondering if what I’m selling is even worth continuing. I’m so confused! Lol
